The Directorate General of Petroleum Concessions, under the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division) in Pakistan, has announced a high-level job opportunity for the position of Legal Advisor. This role is a contract-based position located in the Directorate General (LGs).
Job Details
- Position: Legal Advisor (One Position)
- Monthly Remuneration: Rs. 0.5 Million (Lump Sum, Negotiable)
- Contract Duration: Initial period of two years, extendable based on performance and requirements.
- Maximum Age: 55 years.
Qualifications and Experience
- Educational Requirement: Masters or equivalent qualification in Law from an HEC recognized institute. Candidates with foreign qualifications in Petroleum Laws, Policy, and Contracts will be preferred.
- Professional Experience: Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in law firms, major industrial groups, or government/corporate bodies.
- Specialized Knowledge: Candidates must have sound practical knowledge of Pakistan’s legal framework in the Petroleum Sector, specifically regarding LNG & LPG.
- Legal Standing: A valid license to plead cases in the High Courts of Pakistan is required.
